JB Chemicals allots 16425 equity shares

JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd has announced that the Compensation Committee of the board of directors of the Company has, on May 10, 2010, issued and allotted 16,425 equity shares of face value of Rs. 2/- each of the Company to various employees against exercise of options granted to them on April 01, 2004 at exercise price of Rs. 63/- per share.

The issued and paid up capital has thus gone up from 8,43,52,700 shares of Rs. 2/- each to 8,43,69,125 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.85.15, up by Rs.0.80 or 0.95%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.86.90 and low of Rs.83.30.

The total traded quantity was 190631 compared to 2 week average of 631986.
