The first ever 'Asia Competitiveness Forum' to be held in New Delhi on April 28 – 29, 2010

New Delhi: Institute for Competitiveness India (IFC) and The Competitiveness Institute (TCI) present the Asia Competitiveness Forum 2010 to be held on 28th and 29th of April 2010 at The Hilton – New Delhi. The two-day conference will focus on "Competitiveness and Development" of Asian countries and how the success stories of the West can be replicated in India.

Asia Forum 2010 will be the first ever conference to discuss and understand on how the large business groups and SMEs can join the international bandwagon and take their business to Fortune 500 echelon, gain tremendous insights into competitive business environment and discover the undercurrents and tectonic shifts of business models from Europe and USA into Asia, esp. India.

The forum will be attended by Investors, foreign delegates and CEO's from across the globe and addressed by Indian Government dignitaries, Ivy League Academicia and global practitioners. The event will feature high-energy discussions on the Indian Real Estate Market, Nanotechnology, Digital Rights and more, in addition to networking events, private sector events and even entrepreneurship funding.

Some of the other key sessions during the two day forum will be on Competitiveness, State of National Economy, Higher Education, Supply Chain Management, Urban Infrastructure, Urban Logistics Mobility, to name a few. Michigan University manages a special Urban Mobility track.

Speaking on the need of instituting the Asia Competitiveness Forum, Dr. Amit Kapoor, Chairman IFC, said, "Asian economies have a lot of resources which, if used to full potential will help these emerging Super Powers to build a healthy international business environment. Asia Competitiveness Forum will serve as a platform where the business expertise from the West meets the resource pool in the East to help the businesses in these countries to reach the next level in globalization."
