Mahindra Forgings allots 46000 shares

Mahindra Forgings Ltd has now announced With reference to earlier announcement dated March 26, 2010 regarding allotment of 46,000 Equity Shares of face value of Rs. 10/- each at an exercise price of Rs. 83/- per Equity Share, pursuant to exercise of options by certain applicants under the Mahindra Forgings Limited Employees' Stock Option Scheme, that consequent to the above the listed paid up capital of the Company has been increased from Rs. 87,80,90,360/- to Rs. 87,85,50,360/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.112.55, up by Rs.3.70 or 3.40%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.116.55 and low of Rs.110.

The total traded quantity was 455205 compared to 2 week average of 247565.
