Winsome Textile approves allotment of 14400000 shares

Winsome Textile Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 24, 2010, inter alia, has considered and approved the allotment of 1,44,00,000 equity shares of Re. 1/- each at the premium of Rs. 1.40/- each fully paid up (total Rs. 2.40/- each), upon the conversion of 14,40,000 convertible warrants.

The allottees under Promoter Group includes Kailashpati Vinimay Pvt. Ltd. - 36,00,000 shares and Roselab Commodities Pvt. Ltd. - 58,00,000 shares. The allottee under Non-Promoter Group is Daniel Vinimay Pvt. Ltd. - 50,00,000 shares.

The stock was trading at Rs.3.70, down by Rs.0.01 or 0.27%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.3.84 and low of Rs.3.62.

The total traded quantity was 12323 compared to 2 week average of 87091.
