Birla Power to consider raising funds on Mar 25, 2010

Birla Power Solutions Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on March 25, 2010, inter alia, to consider and approve the increase in authorized share capital.

The Board will consider raising of funds by issue of GDRs/ADRs/FCCBs and Equity shares and any other instruments convertible into Equity shares under Section 81(1A) of the Companies Act, 1956.

The stock was trading at Rs.3.66, up by Rs.0.10 or 2.81%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.3.68 and low of Rs.3.56.

The total traded quantity was 2023498 compared to 2 week average of 3875678.
