Mumbai - March 9, 2010: The Parx Super Car Show was the first-of-its-kind event launched in April 2009 at Mumbai to parade on the city roads the finest luxury and sports cars, which include top brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, BMW, Mercedes amongst others.
Encouraged and enthused by the active response for the first ever super cars at Mumbai in 2009, we organized the second edition of the Parx Super Car Show in a larger format this year again, in Mumbai. Ever since we organized the first show at Mumbai in April last year, we have been receiving innumerable requests from proud owners of super cars across India to organize similar shows in their respective cities. We, thus, propose to take the Parx Super Car Show to other cities in India, to establish connects amongst super car enthusiasts across the country.
Delhi is the first city outside of Mumbai to host the Parx Super Car Show and the response we've received from the city is overwhelming."
As event organizers, Mr Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Ltd, "Parx Super Car Show is a unique property with all the trappings of becoming a mega asset. This property in a progressive country like India will only make us proud. Percept D' Mark has rendered its skills, expertise and services to the vision of Supercar Club of India we and hope to make it bigger and grander in the years to come, along the lines of the vision of those who initiated this event."
Parx Super Car Show was conceptualized and organized by Mr Gautam Singhania and Hormazd Sorabjee for the first time in Mumbai last year, to establish a forum for car enthusiasts to interact and display their sensational cars. He is also the Founder & Chairman of the SCI, which he founded in April 2009 together with Mr Hormazd Sorabjee, who as editor of Autocar India said "The passion for cars in India is growing exponentially and as a magazine that caters to car enthusiasts it is our objective to put the fun back into motoring."
