AXIS Bank allots 549464 Equity Shares under ESOP

AXIS Bank Ltd has announced that the Committee of Whole-Time Directors of the Bank has on February 16, 2010 made the allotment of 5,49,464 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 40,45,18,841 equity shares from 40,39,69,377 equity shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1025.90, down by Rs.2 or 0.19%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1036.50 and low of Rs.1018.

The total traded quantity was 207424 compared to 2 week average of 172185.
