Patni Computer Systems allots 27675 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated February 12, 2010 has allotted 27,675 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 1,750 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 875 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock was trading at Rs.466.85, up by Rs.2.55 or 0.55%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.467.80 and low of Rs.459.

The total traded quantity was 24968 compared to 2 week average of 61915.
