Fortis Healthcare to consider raising Rs 1000 crores

Fortis Healthcare Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on February 10, 2010, inter alia, to consider to raise funds through issue of securities, aggregating upto Rs. 1000 Crores.

The stock was trading at Rs.138.55, down by Rs.3.95 or 2.77%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.141 and low of Rs.135.10.

The total traded quantity was 205562 compared to 2 week average of 437097.
