Century Enka allots 18 lakh warrants

Century Enka Ltd has announced that pursuant to the special resolution passed by the shareholders of the Company on December 09, 2009 through postal ballot for issue of 18,00,000 Preferential Warrants convertible into 18,00,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Promoters of the Company.

The Board of Directors in its meeting held on December 17, 2009 allotted 18,00,000 Preferential Warrants to M/s. Century Textiles and Industries Ltd. - 9,00,000 Preferential Warrants and M/s. TGS Investment & Trade Pvt. Ltd. - 9,00,000 Preferential Warrants.

The stock closed the day at Rs.293.55, down by Rs.11 or 3.61%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.312.60 and low of Rs.289.90.

The total traded quantity was 61659 compared to 2 week average of 107804.
