HDFC allots 293659 Shares pursuant to conversion of FCCBs

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) has announced that the Corporation on January 12, 2010, allotted 2,93,659 equity shares of Rs. 10 each pursuant to conversion of FCCBs and exercise of stock options by employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 286,14,89,260 consisting 28,61,48,926 equity shares of Rs. 10 each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2563.75, down by Rs.37.20 or 1.43%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2601 and low of Rs.2550.

The total traded quantity was 65775 compared to 2 week average of 55245.
