Weston forays into White Goods Market, Unveils affordable semi automatic washing machine in domestic market

New Delhi - January 6, 2010: Weston, a well known name in the domestic consumer electronic industry has announced its entry into white goods market with unveiling of its first ever affordable semi automatic washing machine in the country.

Weston's semi automatic machine model WMI-702A has been incorporated with state of the art technologies including Turbo wash function, 20 minute soak timer, buzzer facility and offers different settings for various types of clothes to protect the fabric.

"The Weston semi automatic washing machine has been developed specially keeping in mind the distinct Indian family conditions, where varied kind of washing is needed . It provides gentle cleaning and washing and offers different settings for various types of clothes to protect the fabric" said Mr Sunil Sethi, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Weston.

"The washing machine features with drum rotation speed control, a powerful motor and a impeller specially designed for superior wash results. Anti vibration and noise technology has been incorporated in this machine apart from the energy and water saving features integrated in these machines will try to meet the rising needs in the energy conservation and environmental preservation." Mr Sethi said.

"Before the wash cycle begins, the machine has a soak procedure to ensure cleaner clothes.. It has a wide angle water supply showers that ensures faster water penetration and thorough rinsing. It has user friendly technology to make everyday life a little simpler." Mr Sethi added.

The MOP of the product is Rs 5990/-.It has an introductory offer of five years warranty and is available at a 3000 strong dealer channel across the country and at Vishal and Bharti Wal Mart stores.
