Bajaj Hindusthan allots 14500000 Equity Shares upon exercise of warrants

Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd has announced with reference to the preferential allotment of 1,45,00,000 warrants made to the Promoters on May 22, 2009. Upon exercise of the right attached to the said warrants and payment of balance 75% allotment money aggregating to Rs. 56,70,22,500/-, the Management Committee of Directors at its meeting held on January 04, 2010, allotted 1,45,00,000 Equity Shares of Re. 1/-each, at a price of Rs. 52.14 per equity share.

Post allotment, the paid up capital of the Company has increased to Rs. 191,357,111 from Rs. 176,857,111.

The stock closed the day at Rs.230.05, up by Rs.5.30 or 2.36%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.230.95 and low of Rs.225.10.

The total traded quantity was 661175 compared to 2 week average of 720449.
