              Mumbai - December 8, 2009: ING Investment Management (ING IM) India has today announced the appointment of Mr. Ramanathan K as the Chief Investment Officer for its Single Manager Investments and Gaurav Khurana as the National Sales Head with effect from 8th December 2009. Both appointees were identified from within the organization.
Ramanathan K, a veteran fixed income fund manager headed ING IM India's Fixed Income Investments since March 2006. He is credited to have designed and launched India's first AAA rated CPPI based fund in the mutual fund format and was also a part of the team that advised the 'Disinvestment Commission, Govt. of India' on divestment strategies for MTNL. A part of the senior management team, he started his career in 1995 with rating agency CARE and moved on to work with Birla Sunlife AMC and Lehman Brothers prior to joining ING IM India.
Gaurav Khurana joined ING IM India in Jan 2008 as National Head for the Banking vertical and has most recently taken added responsibility to grow the PMS business. In a short span of 6 months up to Nov'09, ING IM India has rapidly added over 1200 new HNI clients to its PMS portfolio. Starting his career with Xerox, he joined Citibank where he spent 8 years in several key positions across both wealth management and asset businesses, primarily in the sales and distribution function.
