Assam Company repurchases FCCBs worth $6.7 million

Assam Company Ltd has announced that the Company has bought back, through open market operation, Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), of US$ 6.7 million at a discount.

The Company's outstanding FCCBs due 2011 as on date stands at US $ 34 million.

The stock closed the day at Rs.17.85, down by Rs.0.10 or 0.56%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.18.25 and low of Rs.17.75.

The total traded quantity was 172621 compared to 2 week average of 291546.
