HDFC Bank allots 26200220 equity shares to HDFC

HDFC Bank Ltd has announced that the Bank has allotted 2,62,00,220 equity shares of the face value of Rs. 10/- each for cash at a premium of Rs. 1520.13 per share, to Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. ("HDFC Ltd.") on exercising of 2,62,00,220 warrants issued on preferential basis, pursuant to SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure) Regulations, 2009.

The HDFC Bank stock closed the day at Rs.1756.25, up by Rs.8.55 or 0.49%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1786 and low of Rs.1743.

The total traded quantity was 162156 compared to 2 week average of 100913.
