HDFC Long Term Advantage Fund (ELSS Scheme) declares 60% dividend

HDFC Mutual Fund's HDFC Long Term Advantage Fund - Dividend Plan (ELSS Scheme) has declared a dividend of 60% to the unitholders. The scheme has fixed January 11, 2007 as the record date for dividend. The unitholders who hold units in the scheme or buy units before January 11 are eligible for this dividend.

The NAV (Net Asset Value) of the unit as on January 5, 2007 is Rs.46.45. The NAV of the scheme will fall to the extent of dividend paid and statutory levy, if any after the record date. The scheme was launched in December 27, 2000 and has given 36.13% returns since inception. The scheme has given 41.53% returns in the past 3 years and 21.57% in the last 1 year. This scheme is one of the top scheme in ELSS category.
