Marico allots 80300 shares

Marico Ltd has announced that the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company met on November 14, 2009 and allotted 80,300 equity shares of the Company of the face value of Re. 1 each under the existing Marico Employees Stock Options Scheme 2007.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up share capital of the Company has increased from 60,91,78,900 equity shares of Re. 1/- each aggregating Rs. 60,91,78,900 to 60,92,59,200 equity shares of Re. 1/- each aggregating Rs. 60,92,59,200/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.103.35, down by Rs.1 or 0.96%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.104.75 and low of Rs.103.05.
