Anil Special Steel to consider issue of securities on Nov 16, 2009

Anil Special Steel Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on November 16, 2009, inter alia, to consider the issue of convertible warrants on preferential basis subject to the SEBI guidelines / Regulations and subject to the approval of regulatory authorities including the members of the Company in the General Meeting to allot the shares / warrants on preferential basis to promoters / PAC and strategical investors / others.

The Board will also consider Increase in Authorised Share Capital of Companies subject to the approval of regulatory authorities including the members of the Company in the General Meeting.

The stock was trading at Rs.11.80, up by Rs.0.54 or 4.80%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.12.60 and low of Rs.11.

The total traded quantity was 2628 compared to 2 week average of 3994.
