Wipro allots 7800 Equity Shares

Wipro Ltd has announced that the Administrative Committee of the Company's Board of Directors vide Circular resolution dated October 28, 2009 resolved to issue and allot 7800 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 and Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2005.

The stock was trading at Rs.628.80, up by Rs.5.35 or 0.86%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.631.40 and low of Rs.614.

The total traded quantity was 172888 compared to 2 week average of 222012.
