AI Champdany to consider issue of preference shares on Oct 30, 2009

AI Champdany Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 30, 2009, inter alia, to consider transfer of one of the closed unit of the Company to a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

The Board will also consider Issue of Preference Shares or such other instruments as may be considered appropriate on right basis to the Shareholders of the Company.

The stock was trading at Rs.23.75, down by Rs.0.75 or 3.06%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.24.95 and low of Rs.23.35.

The total traded quantity was 371 compared to 2 week average of 1630.
