Patni Computer allots 20400 equity shares

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution September 25, 2009 allotted 20,400 equity Shares of per value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees pursuant to the exercise of Employees Stock options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.459.95, up by Rs.12.95 or 2.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.462.70 and low of Rs.449.

The total traded quantity was 356260 compared to 2 week average of 428071.
