Titan Securities to issue 13 lakh shares

Titan Securities Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 26, 2009, inter alia, has decided to raise funds subject to approval of members in the Extra ordinary General Meeting.

The Board gave authority to the Board of Directors for issue of 13,00,000 (Thirteen Lacs) Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each for cash at Rs. 10 per share on preferential basis to Non Promoter Body Corporate subject to SEBI Guidelines.

The Board also gave approval to Notice of Extra Ordinary General Meeting for obtaining approval of members by way of special resolution u/s 81 of Companies Act, 1956 at the Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on October 19, 2009 for the aforesaid purpose.

The stock was trading at Rs.7.87, up by Rs.0.37 or 4.93%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.7.87 and low of Rs.7.87.

The total traded quantity was 900 compared to 2 week average of 449.
