ITC allots 339697 Shares

ITC Ltd has announced that the Company on September 16, 2009 has issued and allotted 33,96,970 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 3,39,697 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from September 16, 2009, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 377,96,83,560/- divided into 377,96,83,560 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.227.40, down by Rs.1.20 or 0.52%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.229 and low of Rs.226.25.
