Tata Tax Saving Fund declares 30% dividend

The trustees of Tata Asset Management Ltd have approved September 4, 2009 as the record date for declaration of 30% dividend under the dividend option of Tata Tax Saving Fund.

Accordingly dividend will be paid to all the unitholders whose names appear on the Register of investors/unitholders of the schemes, on September 4, 2009 subject to availability of distributable surplus under the scheme.

The Face Value of Mutual Fund units are Rs 10 and the dividend declared is 30% or Rs 3 per unit.

The NAV (Net Asset Value) of Tata Tax Saving Fund was Rs 44.2941 on August 27, 2009. It should be noted that pursuant to payment of dividend, the NAV of the scheme would fall to the extent of dividend payout and statutory levy if any.
