Tata Coffee Limited Rights Issue closes

SBI Capital Markets Limited has informed about the Issue of 62,34,352 7% Partly Convertible Debentures (PCDS) by Tata Coffee Limited (the "Company") at a price of Rs. 400/- per PCD for an amount aggregating to Rs. 24937.40 lacs to the existing equity shareholders on rights basis in the ratio of 1 PCD for every 2 existing equity shares held by the existing shareholders as on the record date i.e. October 30, 2006. This has reference to the Rights Issue of equity shares by Tata Coffee Limited. The issue opened on Thursday, November 16, 2006 and closed on Friday, December 15, 2006.
