Indian Railways approve Stone India latest Brake control valve

Stone India Ltd has announced that Indian Railways have approved the Company's latest EN 00256146 (European Standard) Complaint Passenger Brake Control Valve for use in Air Brake System for normal and high speed passenger train.

The Company will produce this valve in collaboration with M/s. Poli Brakes' subsidiary M/s. MZT Hepos AD. With this approval the Company will be in a position to enter the high value, sophisticated Passenger Coach Brake System.

The Company has already received an order for 40 sets of Air Brake Systems with this Brake Control Valve from Integral Coach Factory of Indian Railways.

In future this will help the Company to significantly augment its business in the highly remunerative passenger brake systems market both nationally & internationally.
