Lanxess ABS receives First Export Business

Lanxess ABS Ltd announced that the Company at its last Annual General Meeting held in April 2006 announced its plan of increasing capacity to 80,000 ta in 2007-08 and further announced that the whole capacity increase is expected to be financed through internal accruals.

The Company has also successfully started export of ABS. In the year 2007, the Company has plans to export about 8000 MT of ABS. Most of this volume is intended for South East Asia under the brand name ABSOLAC.

The South East Asian business is centered around automotive businesses where the Company holds already a prime supply position in similar user industries in India.
