Kiln break-down closes sponge iron unit of Godawari Power And Ispat Limited

Godawari Power And Ispat Limited has announced that there is a break-down occurred in the 500 TPD Kiln of Sponge Iron Unit of the Company. Due to the break down in the kiln the sponge iron and 10 MW waste heat recovery plant of the Company would remain closed for about 2 to 3 weeks. It is expected that the maintenance and resuming operations in the said Kiln would take about two to three weeks time. As a result of break down, there would be a loss of production of Sponge Iron, captive power generation and steel division during the period of break down. Another sponge iron kiln of 350 TPD and 7 MW waste recovery power plant and partial operations in Steel shall continue normally during this period.
