Taneja Aerospace EGM approves issue of shares to Merrill Lynch

Taneja Aerospace & Aviation Ltd has announced that the members at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on December 18, 2006, have passed the Special Resolution under section 81(1A) of the Companies Act, 1956 approving the issue of 23,50,000 Equity Shares of Rs 5/- each at a price of Rs 155/- per share to Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana S.A. S.V. on preferential basis.

Further the meeting of the Committee of Directors of the Company is convened on December 19, 2006, inter alia, to consider the allotment of Equity Shares in pursuance of aforesaid resolution.
