Bajaj Hindusthan to issue 35450000 shares at Rs 204

Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd has announced that the Management Committee of Directors of the Company ("Committee"), at its meeting held on July 01, 2009, has decided to close the issue and also approved the issuance of 35450000 equity shares of face value Re 1/- each, of the Company, at a price of Rs 204/- (including a premium of Rs 203/-) per equity share, aggregating to an issue size of around Rs 723.18 crores equivalent to around US$ 150 million.

The stock closed the day at Rs.206.50, up by Rs.2.20 or 1.08%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.212.30 and low of Rs.197.45.

The total traded quantity was 2071219 compared to 2 week average of 2654809.
