Celebrity Fashions approves issue of 3 lakh shares to V Rajagopal

Celebrity Fashions Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 26, 2009, has approved the proposal of issue of equity shares on preferential basis to one of the Promoter Directors, Mr. V Rajagopal, not exceeding 3,00,000 (Three lakh) Equity shares, subject to the approval of the shareholders in the AGM to be held on July 27, 2009.

The stock was trading at Rs.17.30, up by Rs.0.80 or 4.85%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.17.30 and low of Rs.16.50.

The total traded quantity was 835 compared to 2 week average of 2607.
