Gayatri Projects seeks EGM approval for preferential issue of 10 lakh warrants

Gayatri Projects Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 04, 2009, has approved the notice for convening Extra-ordinary General Meeting on July 02, 2009 to seek approval of the members for Issue and allotment of not exceeding 10,00,000 (Ten Lakhs only) Convertible Equity Warrants to promoters at a price of Rs 134.54 (rounded off to Rs 135/-) calculated in accordance with the provisions of SEBI (Disclosure and Investor Protection) Guidelines, 2000 and each warrant is convertible into one equity share of Rs 10/- each, with a premium of Rs 125/- per share.

The stock was closed the day at Rs.187.20, down by Rs.5.90 or 3.06%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.197.60 and low of Rs.183.45.

The total traded quantity was 152804 compared to 2 week average of 67655.
