Videocon Industries allots 11765000 Warrants to Bennett, Coleman & Company

Videocon Industries Ltd has announced that the Shareholders Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company on June 01, 2009, have allotted 1,17,65,000 Warrants to Bennett, Coleman & Company Ltd (BCCL) with an option to BCCL to subscribe to 1,17,65,000 Equity Shares within 18 Months from the date of allotment at a price of Rs 170/- (Rupees One Hundred And Seventy Only) per Equity Share.

The stock closed the day at Rs.183.15, up by Rs.9.90 or 5.71%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.184.95 and low of Rs.173.25.

The total traded quantity was 2178959 compared to 2 week average of 2192520.
