Shreyas Intermediates to issue securities

Shreyas Intermediates Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 22, 2009, inter alia, has recommended that the issue of 30,00,000 Preference Shares of Rs 10/- each be issued at a premium of Rs 10/- per Share (Issue Price @ Rs 20/- per Share) aggregating to Rs 6,00,00,000/- and that approval of the Shares be obtained pursuant to Section 81 (1A) of the Companies Act, 1956 by convening an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on June 20, 2009.
