Kansai Nerolac equity shareholders approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd has announced that the equity shareholders of the Company at its court convened meeting held on November 30, 2006, have passed the resolution for approval of the Scheme of Amalgamation of Polycoat Powders Ltd with the Company and their respective shareholders pursuant to Section 391 -394 of the Companies Act, 1956 with requisite majority. The said Scheme of Amalgamation is subject to the sanction of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay.
