Suzlon Energy cancels bonds worth US$78632000

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced with reference to the earlier announcement dated May 11, 2009, that June 2007 Bonds aggregating US$ 88,698,000 and October 2007 Bonds aggregating US$ 78,632,000 have now been cancelled. The aggregate principal amount of June 2007 Bonds and October 2007 Bonds remaining outstanding following such cancellation is US$ 211,302,000 and US$ 121,368,000, respectively.

The stock closed the day at Rs.76.75, down by Rs.4.10 or 5.07%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.82.40 and low of Rs.75.90.

The total traded quantity was 21718886 compared to 2 week average of 16774754.
