Punj Lloyd Group Company signs a large EPC contract

Punj Lloyd Ltd has announced that Punj Lloyd Group, a global infrastructure services provider, has signed a large contract for construction of a LDPE plant at Thailand. The contract was signed by Simon Carves, UK, a member Company of the group.

The order is from PTT Polyethylene Company Ltd (PTT PE), a wholly owned subsidiary of PTT Chemical Company Ltd, jointly with its partner Toyo Thai Corporation Ltd.

The plant is to be built at PTT PE site at Map-Ta-Phut as part of its cracker complex, and will incorporate Basell Lupotech T technology, Sembawang Engineers and Constructors’ (member of Punj Lloyd group) successful track record and reputation in engineering procurement and construction of process plants was instrumental in receiving the contract. Simon Carves Ltd is an established international contractor with more than 100 years experience in successfully delivering plants safely, on time and within budget to customers worldwide. This plant will be the 36th high pressure polyethylene plant of this type to be executed by Simon Carves, reaffirming its position as number one in this field.
