Banswara Syntex secures an export order worth Rs 15 crore from Carreman Michel Thierry of France

Banswara Syntex Ltd on December 01, 2006 has announced that it has bagged an export order worth Rs 15 crore from Carreman Michel Thierry of France. The order is for the supply of high-end valued fabric & yarn. The order is to be executed by Q4 FY07.

The Company also has a 50:50 Joint Venture with Carreman Michel Thierry; the same is operational out of Banswara, Rajasthan and is called Carreman Fabrics Ltd. The JV is slated to produce and export 40 lakh metres of high-value Lycra-based fabric for the international designer markets.

Mr. R L Toshniwal, Chair of the Company said, "Going forward, we expect higher export growth in fabric & garment segment.".
