HPCL announces Q1 results

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has announced the following Unaudited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net loss of Rs 6076.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to net loss of Rs 5078.90 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 151437.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 207761.90 million for quarter ended June 30, 2006.
