ONGC announces Q1 results

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 41189.90 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 33188.80 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 111683.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 150227.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
