Rolta India receives BS ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification

Rolta India Ltd has announced that the Company is among the first 5 top Indian IT Companies to be awarded the BS ISO/IEC 27001:2005 accreditation, the ultimate benchmark for information security. BS ISO/IEC 27001:2005 is an upgraded information security management system which supercedes BS 7799.

The assessment for the certification was conducted by BSI, the largest and most respected management systems registrar in the world supported by BSI group offices, BS ISO /IEC 27001:2005 is based on the best current information security practices of leading British and international businesses and has met with international acclaim. The purpose of information security management is to ensure business continuity and reduce business damage by preventing and minimizing the impact of security incidents.
