Hinduja TMT poised to be the leader in the Insurance Vertical-Signs on Fortune 50 insurance major

Hinduja TMT Ltd has announced that the Company today took yet another step towards establishing it's dominance in the insurance vertical within the BPO industry. The Company today announced a tie-up with Fortune 50 insurance major to process the latter's workmen compensation claims from the Bangalore centre. The Pilot has already started and is expected to go live by early next month.

The Fortune 50 client has a presence in around 60 countries with over 70,000 employees and with revenues of USD 60 billion. The Company has one of the largest insurance practices in India. Starting with one insurance client in 2000, it added another Fortune 150 insurance giant in 2003. Over the last 6 years, the Company's insurance practice has grown from a small team of 25 to over 1700 employees. (out of the total 9000) being serviced out of India, Philippines arid Mauritius.

The current client addition is expected to catapult the Company into one of the biggest third party BPO vendors in Insurance Claim Processing segment.
