IID Forgings to acquire 10,00,000 shares of BDP Genco India Pvt Ltd

IID Forgings Ltd has announced that the members at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on November 28, 2006, have passed as a Special resolution in terms of provisions of Section 372A of the Companies Act 1956 authorising the Company to acquire by way of subscription, purchase or otherwise upto 10,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each of BDP Genco (India) Pvt Ltd.

The members also passed as a Special resolution pursuant to Sec 163 of the Companies Act 1956 for keeping the Registers and Indexes of Members, the Registers and Indexes of Debenture Holders, if any at a place other than the Registered Office of the Company at the office of the Company’s registrar and transfer agents - Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd, Mumbai.
