Pondy Oxides -calls for EGM to issue bonus shares

Pondy Oxides & Chemicals Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 28, 2006, has approved the bonus ratio of 1 share for every 10 equity shares held by the shareholders subject to the approval of the members in their Extra Ordinary General Meeting to be held on December 28, 2006.
