Ambuja Cement Eastern Updates on Scheme of Amalgamation

Ambuja Cement Eastern Ltd has announced that the Hon'ble High Court of Chatisgarh at Bilaspur had passed an Order on November 13, 2006 approving the amalgamation of the Company with Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd, with effect from January 01, 2006 in terms of the Scheme of Amalgamation.

Consequent upon the above, the Board of Directors of the Company on November 24, 206 and took on record the said Order passed by the Chatisgarh High Court. The Company has filed the requisite form No. 21 with the Registrar of Companies, Madhya Pradesh and Chatisgarh.
