JBF Industries repurchases FCCBs worth US$14.30 million

JBF Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 02, 2009, inter alia, has approved the deal of buy back and cancellation of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) of USD 14.30 Millions, out of the outstanding FCCBs of USD 21.30 Millions at a discount 32.3% of the value.

The stock closed the day at Rs.35.55, up by Rs.2.90 or 8.88%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.38.75 and low of Rs.33.10.

The total traded quantity was 163441 compared to 2 week average of 60165.
