IndiGo expands its Middle East footprint with new Bengaluru-Riyadh direct flights, starting 16 November 2025 
              The total approximate earnings of Indian Railways on originating basis during the period 11th February – 20th February 2009 were Rs. 2397.73 crore compared to Rs. 2212.15 crore during the same period last year, registering an increase of 8.39%.
The total goods earnings have gone up from Rs. 1524.70 crore during 11th February – 20th February 2008 to Rs. 1644.92 crore during 11th February – 20th February 2009, showing an increase of 7.88%. The total passenger revenue earnings during the period 11th to 20th February 2009 were Rs. 675.59 crore compared to Rs. 617.89 crore during the same period last year, reflecting an increase of 9.34%. The revenue earnings from other coaching amounted to Rs. 55.59 crore during this period compared to Rs. 49.26 crore during the same period last year, showing an increase of 12.85%.
The total approximate number of passengers booked during the period 11th to 20th February 2009 were 205.54 million compared to 191.03 million during the same period last year, showing an increase of 7.60%. In the suburban and non-suburban sectors, the number of passengers booked during 11–20 February 2009 were 112.12 million and 93.42 million compared to 108.21 million and 82.82 million during the same period last year, registering an increase of 4.99% and 12.80% respectively.
