Coromandel Fertilisers to raise funds

Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd has announced that the members at the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on November 15, 2006, have approved the following:

1. Issue of Equity / Securities linked to Equity upto a sum of Rs 230 Crore or its equivalent in any other currency.

2. Enhancement in borrowing power of the Board of Directors of the Company from Rs 500 crore to Rs 750 Crore.
