Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport gets New Terminal Building

The new Integrated Terminal Building was inaugurated at Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun. The New Domestic Terminal Building at Dehradun has an area of 4200 sqm and is a glass and steel structure having modern passenger friendly facilities such as central heating system, central air conditioning, public address system, Flight Information Display System (FIDS), CCTV for surveillance, check in counters, car parking, etc.

The Domestic Terminal Building has peak hour passenger handling capacity of 150 passengers (75 arrival + 75 departure) and annual handling capacity of 1.22 lakhs. The New Domestic Terminal Building has Domestic Passenger handling capacity of 150. There are 4 Check-in counters, 1 X ray scanners (for baggage), 3 Security check booths and 2 Conveyor Belt – arrival.

New apron can cater for parking of 2 Category 'C' type of aircraft.
